Casa Caburlotto is located in the Historical Center of Venice, in the Sestiere of Santa Croce, a few minutes away from Piazzale Roma/Bus Terminal of the City
and is near the railway station of Santa Lucia, which is 10 minutes walking distance.
It is in a strategic place near the main means of transport and at the same time a residential area, therefore,
it has many neighboring commercial shops. It is peaceful, secure and quiet. The point of departure and every place
of artistic and cultural interest in the historical center of Venice are just near, walking distance
(a 15-minute walk to the Museum of Accademia, Museum Guggenheim, Basilica della Salute and 20 minutes to Punta Dogana,
25 minutes to Ghetto Venice, and 20-minute walk to the Basilica dei Frari, etc.)
HOW TO REACH THE PLACE
FROM MARCO POLO AIRPORT, VENICE:
To reach Piazzale Roma, take Bus ATVO “Airport Shuttle Service” or
Autobus No. 5 and then follow the indications from Piazzale Roma.
FROM THE AIRPORT OF TREVISO:
Raggiungere P.le Roma con Bus “Airport Shuttle service” e poi seguire le indicazioni da P.le Roma.
FROM THE TRONCHETTO:
Port/Cruise Venice: Reach Piazzale Roma with the “People Mover” arrives P.le Roma in 5 minutes.
FROM SANTA LUCIA RAILWAY STATION:
Cross the bridge of Costituzione at the right (with the station behind) and then follow the indications from P.le Roma.
FROM PIAZZALE ROMA (TERMINAL OF CARS AND BUSES IN VENICE):
To reach Casa Caburlotto from Piazzale Roma, you will see a plant in the square where the buses stop,
take the pavement along the canal and you will see green kiosks of bread and soft drinks,
continue until the souvenir booths of Venice (of stitching, bags, hats) and pass across.
You will find a newsstand at your right, turn right and you will see a bridge known as
I TRE PONTI (on top you will see a signboard with the direction Accademia, San Marco);
go up and down on this bridge and you will find a road with restaurants.
For you not to be mistaken, you will have to pass in front of Biasini Restaurant,
Rio Novo and in front of Venetian Trattoria (Hostaria Venexiana), then Majer Bakery and a
cigarette shop. The cigarette shop is leaning towards the bridge called Ponte del Pagan which you
need to cross and after few meters away, turn right (just before the third bridge called Ponte de Ca’ Rizzi).
You are now in our road known as “Fondamenta” di Ca’ Rizzi, then go straight towards the end and the house that
you will find with number 316 is Casa Caburlotto.
